Our family of 6 stayed at Cairnmhor Villa for 3 nights and it was a great experience. The owners were incredibly helpful and accommodating, even providing a highchair for us when we forgot to bring one. The house itself was very clean and well-stocked with everything we needed, including a fantastic kitchen where we spent a lot of time. The bathrooms were spacious and clean, with excellent water pressure in the ensuite. The location was ideal for exploring the island, with easy access to places like the fairy pools. We even had the incredible opportunity to spot golden eagles just outside the villa. our stay was fantastic and we would definitely recommend this hotel.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The house was beautifully decorated and fully furnished with top-quality utensils. Clean linen and towels were provided, and the beds were neatly made up in all rooms. The bathrooms were huge and spotlessly clean. The key code made check-in a breeze, and the owner was readily available to answer any questions. We received informative emails throughout our stay. The view from the house was stunning, and the location was perfect, just a short walk from the town center and a quick drive to a large supermarket. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary bottle of wine. The kitchen facilities were excellent, and the overall cleanliness of the property was exceptional. We appreciated the attention to detail, including the essentials provided. The spacious and well-equipped kitchen dining area was a highlight. We had a great experience and highly recommend this accommodation for a fantastic stay on Skye.

I had an excellent self-service stay at this well-maintained and thoughtfully planned accommodation. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the center of town. The rooms were very nice and well-stocked with everyday items. The communication from the host was great and they even provided a tablet with personalized instructions and recommendations. The check-in process was easy with a key holder outside the door. The house was nicely decorated and the kitchen had quality utensils. The bathrooms were huge and clean. Despite some minor issues with shower water pressure and creaky floors, these were easily overlooked compared to the other amazing things. I would highly recommend Cairnmhor in Portree for a comfortable and convenient stay.

The rooms at Cairnmhor were absolutely fantastic! They had a cozy, homely feel that made me instantly feel relaxed. The bathrooms were spotless and had both a shower and a bath, which was perfect for unwinding after a long day of hiking. I also loved the fact that they provided free toiletries, saving me the hassle of bringing my own. I was really impressed with the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms.
If I had to pick one thing I liked less about my stay at Cairnmhor, it would be the number of bathrooms. Although there were 4 bedrooms, there were only 3 bathrooms.

Had a great Xmas stay! Loved the self-service concept, code entry was super convenient. The house was nicely decorated and had a well-stocked kitchen. The communication from the host was excellent, we received informative emails and had our questions answered promptly. The location was also a plus, just a short walk to the town center. And the scenery from the house was stunning!
The room we stayed in was quite small, especially the bed and ensuite. The door setup was a bit hazardous, as we both ended up jamming our fingers.
